It would be worth it to transfer it back IMO due to the pre-paid gratuities. If it's the same package, you should be able to keep it. You will lose a non-refundable deposit. Hopefully, you have an FCD in your account that you can use for the "new" booking. I usually don't recommend booking direct with Princess but for you, it would be an improvement. The worst they could say is no, but if you don't ask, then the answer is definitely no. I also prefer working with a TA and even if they have some kind of cancellation and/or change fee, it might still be well worth it given the perks they often offer.
